We lived on the second floor of the Tofani building, once a small factory, for about a year.  During that time we got to know the building and began planning renovations for the third floor where we would eventually move.  

The best thing about this old building were the windows and the amazing and surprising patterns of light they threw onto the walls and the floor.  I made photographs and the photographs were about the light.

I made a book of some of my photographs and a second very short book of photographs of my sewing notions tucked away in drawers.

These seemed to me to be new kinds of images that I was making in this new space.
