Small Heads I

At the time these drawings were done I only drew when I could go to croquis classes at the Fleischer Art Memorial.  However even the good models took the same art school poses over and over and it was pretty boring.  My workaround was to just draw their heads.  Sequenced into books the pages of heads in shifting gestures seem to me to talk to each other just as the book with the head of a single woman seems silent.  I made each of the women her own book.
