Begin Begin Again

This was the second of my son’s movies that I got to photograph in process.  The entire book was made with C prints, unlike the first book Movie, which had a few black and white gelatin silver prints mixed in.  I was a little more used to using the color film and so had more control.  The format of the book was similar to Movie but I had begun to vary the image sizes.  

Julian and his friend Jen made the  movie together.  They wrote it together.  Jen acted in it and Julian was cameraman and director.  Their friendship was a lot of what I was seeing as I followed them with my camera. And the face of the story was Jen.

Begin, Begin Again is made in an edition of 2. 10 x 15 inches. Forty-two C Prints window mounted in 1-ply museum board paper, bound in mylar cover. 2002.
