Angels

Angels and Children are dream books.  Each holds a drawn image that, like my written images, only become known to me as they appeared on the page.  Both drawings were made when I was about 20.

Most of my drawings and photographs are a response to direct observation.

These recently made books don’t have the end boards and dust jackets that I use to bind most of my books.

Instead I use a single, lighter weight, 2 ply board for front, spine and back cover.  The cover is attached only to the first page.  A single page-size board is attached to the last page of the book.  Thus the book can stand open or close up neatly.
