#34 Stair

The images in book #34 Stair are of the staircase up to our apartment or of objects that live in a storage space downstairs.  Except for window views, all the images in the Inscape books are of the interior of our apartment.  But I love a staircase and it’s a part of the building we live in.

Upstairs is where we live our daily lives.  Downstairs is our history.   There are boxes of pipes that belonged to my father.  And boxes of his drafting tools.  There is a small stack of books tied with string in our storage space sitting just as it sat in a storage closet in his apartment.

And one shelf holds an arrangement of small carvings and objects of interest that belonged to the people who were once our children.
